New issue of Operants is here!
As the cover story, this Quarter III issue features the interview with Otto Fad, Elephant Manager at Busch Gardens Tampa, who talks about his team and their use of advanced operant techniques and positive reinforcement in elephant training.
As always, there are profiles of behavioral scientists and practitioners from around the world, including Dr. Robert Mellon, President of the European Association for Behavior Analysis; Dr. Maria Helena Hunziker from University of São Paulo, Brazil; Emaley McCulloch, Managing Partner of Autism Training Solutions in Honolulu, Hawai; and Dr. Paolo Moderato, President of European Institute for the Study of Human Behavior (IESCUM) in Milan, Italy.
In addition to reflections on Skinner’s direct and hidden impact on science by our regular contributors, we decided to introduce a column that we named “New Voices” for those who are new to the field, or are discovering Operants for the first time. In this issue, the new voices are Hande Cihan and Dr. Yesim Güleç-Aslan from Sakarya University, Turkey.
